2006 BORDEAUX CHATEAUX TASTING
26 JANUARY 2009 WALDOFF ASTORIA OUT OF 99 BORDEAUX CHATEAUX SHOWN -- 25 GOOD REDS/WHITES 5 GOOD SAUTERNES ------------------------------------------------------------- The 2006 vintage in general tasted better yesterday than the 2005's did last year . The 2006's are more forward than the 2005's, but the 2005 is a much better vintage overall. The 2005 Petit-Chateaux the previous two years of tasting them were very solid values . They ALL tasted very good . The initial prices were amazingly well priced. Retailers and restaurateurs bought them in droves. CABRINI WINES sold over one hundred cases of the PC's. It will be interesting to taste alot of the 2006 Petit-Chateaux in comparison to the 2005's. THE BEST OF THE 2006 BORDEAUX CHATEAUX
